חום ברפואה הסינית

An article intended for practitioners of Chinese medicine:

First of all, it is important to mention that the fact that the patient has gastritis/Crohn's/colitis/reflux does not mean that he has a fever in his body.

Not every patient who has an inflammatory condition or descending qi that rises upward suffers from a fever.

Chinese fever should be diagnosed according to the Chinese symptoms that we know: rapid pulse, red tongue, rapid speech, rapid body movements, pungent odor in stools and urine, sweating, thirst, feeling hot, etc.

In terms of nutrition for patients with fever and digestive problems, I will recommend the normal diet we are familiar with (mainly cooked food) and the familiar dietary habits, but I will also add a diet that is cooling in nature.

Foods that are cooling according to Chinese medicine and are still suitable for people with digestive problems are:

Millet: Can be used in porridge, soup, or stew

Yogurt: Not suitable for everyone, but if it goes well with digestion and the patient has a fever, I would recommend it in a reasonable dose.

Sea fish

Mash: It is very worthwhile to germinate and since it is a small seed, it will not always be suitable.

Tofu: Surprisingly, even though it's a legume, it's usually safe for digestion.

Tomatoes: in small quantities and cooked

Eggplants: Although refrigerated, they don't always do well, you have to try and see how they react.

Cucumbers: Can be eaten without the peel for those who suffer from bloating, gas, and diarrhea

Zucchini

Spinach

Green apple

Seaweed: They are salty (therefore strengthening the kid) and also cold but are usually not easily digested. You can try a small amount and see how the patient reacts.
